I am so excited to be finally posting these. With the whole husband getting sick thing and crazy busy family Christmas season, I am SO SO behind on posting weddings. I am so lucky to have such amazingly wonderful brides who have been so patient with me while I try to get everything done. I seriously am so lucky because I always get great brides. In all the time I have been photographing weddings, I don't think I have ever really had a bridezilla (knock on wood).

So anyways...I am super thrilled to be posting these so everyone can see. Angie is like the most amazingly beautiful bride. Isn't she just breathtaking? And these two are such a fun couple...The day of their wedding it was predicted to be rain but Mother Nature cooperated and it was such a beautiful day. I loved everything about their wedding...All the little touches that she did were so gorgeous. She had my new partner Tina from Irresistible Weddings design her wedding and it turned out gorgeous. Don't you love the zebra print?

Shelby & Wes | Cedar City Utah Engagement Photography

I can't believe that these two's wedding is going to be here so soon. Time just goes too fast. They are such a fun couple and have the CUTEST little boy and I am so excited for them to start their life. They were so cute with each other and just so in love! Which I always just love to be around...its so fun to be around couples when they are just so in love with each other. I feel like that feeling rubs off on me and I am on cloud nine for them! We had such a good time during their engagement session and they were so easy going and just let me do whatever I wanted, which I always love! And I am so excited with how this session turned out. Nasrin & Russell Bridals | Cedar City Utah Bridal Photography

So this is by far one of the best brides I have ever photographed. Most everyone is down with my crazy ideas...but she takes the cake. When I suggested that she walk out in the middle of the lake, climb on this rock in her amazingly gorgeous dress...she looked at me, slightly laughed, and in her mind thought I was kidding. When she realized I wasn't, she laughed again, and then headed out into the water. And oh did it pay off. Doesn't she look amazing? I am so glad she took the chance! These two are such a cute couple and I am so excited for them and their upcoming wedding. They are just a perfect couple...When I first consult with clients I have them tell me a little bit about themselves and their relationship...and I totally have to share what she wrote...it is so cute and made me smile ear to ear when I read it...

"Russ and I first met through a friend. He thought I was quite the catch, I thought he was funny, but wasn't attracted to him. He spent the next eight months trying to convinve me to date him. He brought me on dates ad texted me all the time. I soon went home for the summer and we continued texting we both became very close and learned a lot each other, he went out on more dates and I finally (as he likes to put it) caved ad started dating him. It has been the best year of my life, he makes my world go round. I think he has the most adorable smile, when ever I see him smile I instantly start smiling, I can't ever get enough of him. Ok you probably didn't need to know all of that but goodness I am just head over heel for him!!"

Jessie & Easton | Cedar City Utah Bridal Photography

Seriously, how hot are these two? Another session I was super excited for. I just love when couples let their personalities shine through and let me do, well, whatever I want!!! It just turned out so smokin! And I love the bike! It was so perfect for these two. Riding off into the sunset together...love it! She looks so incredibly amazing and can you believe that she made her hair piece by herself! So excited for these two and their marriage...congrats you guys! To see more of the session click here.

Desi & James | St. George Utah Bridal Photography

Remember that session I was talking about that we ended up doing on the side of I-15 (well if you are a Facebook fan you might know)...well here it is. We wanted to be on an old road, a friend gave me some directions to what she said was an old abandoned road, but it actually turned out to be a slow stretch of I-15. Awesome right!!! We only had like 15 cars and one semi speed by us, but it turned out be be totally perfect! Just what I had in mind. And I loved these two for going along with all my crazy ideas. The wind was blowing like crazy, we could have potentially been hit and killed, but the risk was worth the reward. I am so so so in LOVE with this session. I just love this couple. They are so cool and laid back. I had a seriously fun time doing their bridal pictures. Everything just seemed to work out perfectly. She was amazingly gorgeous, she had thought about every little detail and it all just came together so perfectly. From the colors, to her dress, to his suit, I was just in love with it all. And they are so cute together that everything seemed to flow so seamlessly. Which I can only imagine how their lives together will be. Just so perfect and effortless. Neina | Park City Utah Bridals

I have been so excited for these bridals. I knew they would turn out amazing. Neina is one of my favorite brides, she is such an amazing person and I am so glad that we have become friends. How cute are these two? We had such a fun time doing this engagement session...and wait until you see their bridals which are coming up soon! I love when a couple is just so chill and go with the flow. They were up for all my crazy ideas...like sitting in weeds even though he had way bad allergies! Such a good sport! Mr. J is a semi-pro bowler so of course we had to do some at the bowling alley! Loved it! It is always so fun to do something new and fun! This is one of the cutest engagement stories I have heard in awhile...This groom is super funny and he proposed with a Ring Pop not once, but twice!!! And she was such a good sport...she still said YES! These two are so fun and you can just tell they have so much fun together. I love to be around couples who are just so in love, but also so silly together, and you can just tell they are best friends. It reminds me so much of my hubby. He is my best friend and I just love hanging out with him doing nothing. We always have such a good time...sorry, total tangent about the hubby...back to these two...We had so much fun at their session playing ultimate frisbee, which by the way, I can throw a frisbee and take pictures at the same time! Full service photographer, remember? Gotta do what you gotta do to get the shot. And these two were so fun and I am so excited for their upcoming appointment that is well tomorrow! When we met to chat about their upcoming wedding, these two made it really clear that they like to have fun, be silly, and laugh. So I wanted to do something a little bit different for their session. You never know how a client is going to act in front of the camera but these two did great. And they kept me laughing with all their jokes and funniness (is that a word?). So anyways we did a little Q&A at the beginning of their session and it was hilarious...

The whole session was really fun. Even towing his car down a dirt road because it just plain died. One the bright side of things at least it was at the end...if my hubby only knew all the things I do with my truck. hee-hee. But no matter, we had a great time and I am so excited for their upcoming session. I am so excited for these two to get married! Aren't they just so cute? First off you gotta love a cowboy and his cowgirl. So adorable. They reminded me of some cute western movie and just that dreamy country love, so simple, so deep, so real. Ahhh! Just love it! We had such a fun time at their engagements and they were such good sports to follow me to all my wild location ideas. "Stand in these brown stinky weeds, trust me it will look good." "It's okay, I know the bushes are full of bees, we'll be fast you won't get stung." And they never said a word!!! Just kept snuggling and being so cute and in love! Seriously, how smokin' hot are these two? Can't you just feel the passion? Oh I love it! And they aren't engaged, or even newly weds, these are anniversary pictures...they're old married folks. Well sort of!!! Maybe not quite as old and married as some of us...but still...I wished everyone could be this passionate with their spouse no matter how long they have been married.   What a fun bridal session...it was hot, hot, HOT! Both the weather and this couple. From the first moment he saw her in her wedding dress and the private moment they had together as he whispered in her ear how much he loved her and how beautiful she was to all the moments that happened the rest of the day it was so exciting to hang out with these two. They are SO in love!!! With their wedding only a few days away I am so excited to be able to see them come out of the Temple as man and wife and share in their entire day with them.   So the first time that Kayla and I spoke about her photography, this is exactly what she said, "I am not a very girly girl. I have not dreamed about my wedding colors and wedding dress and all that stuff since I was a little girl. I was too busy being a tomboy." And its so funny because most photographers would probably be a little nervous but I was stoked! I love something different, someone with their own personality and style. And I couldn't wait for their session. When we got together it could not have been more perfect. They were totally laid back and they pretty much did whatever I told them but also had the great ability to be candid with each other. Because really all the best stuff comes when you are just being you. And I loved how she totally showed off that smirk. I am so excited for these two and their upcoming marriage. Don't you just love my new yellow umbrella? So fun! I was so excited to take this bride to this new location in downtown Salt Lake City that I have been wanting to try. It was so beautiful...I love all the amazing locations of Northern Utah. So much variety!!! After we met her soon-to-be hubby and did some fun things at the temple we sent him on his way and had such a fun time. I am so excited for her upcoming wedding...less than two weeks! Sometimes, when I am really really excited about a session I wait and wait to post them. Doesn't make any sense right? But I want to post them so they can stay on the top of the blog for as long as possible. And with the post-a-thon going on the last few days I have been waiting for the right time. But I just can't wait anymore. I am so so excited about how these turned out. Angie is amazingly gorgeous and she seriously exceeded my every expectation. I am so in love with these. Normally I can pick out a couple favorites but this time it is impossible. I LOVE EVERY IMAGE!!! And I don't know how she could have looked more perfect. Her dress was amazing, her hair was un beliveably amazing, and she was just perfect in every wya throughout the whole shoot, even despite the yucky heat....ahhhhhhhh!!!! Gentry & Mitchell | Manti Utah Bridal Photography

Oh my goodness...these two take my breath away. They are so gorgeous and so in love. Its so fun just to be around them and see how they smile and giggle at each other. Love it! Not to mention that they are totally gorgeous. I kept teasing them that they look like Ken & Barbie! We made the trek all the way up to the Manti Temple to do their bridal session for their upcoming wedding and I was in heaven! I love the Manti Temple and these two just made it all that better. Ya...I am just that funny! Honestly, I can't even remember what I said here but it must have been good! I am really excited to work with this couple. They are getting married in just a few short weeks in Salt Lake City and I am so excited. We had a great time shooting their engagement shoots while they were visiting her family for the weekend, despite an unfortunate run in with a very grumpy man, and I just love how this session turned out. I am so excited to be working with these two at their upcoming wedding in Denver! Its so fun to go to new places and work at new locations. And these two are so fun and have such a cute lovey-dovey relationship that it is going to be amazing. They were explaining the venue to me and I got so giddy! We had a little impromtu engagement shoot as they were traveling through Utah one weekend and they did great. I love love love all the images of her smiling at him. This session should have been a disaster...the weather was miserable, the groom was sick...and I mean really sick! Like stay in bed for days on end sick. But he showed up, he pulled through, and he did everything we asked of him. She is such a lucky girl to have such a great guy. You can just tell he is going to be a great husband. And she deserves it because she is a great girl. Despite everything that was against us, it all just came together and the day turned out great! They were so cute together and so in love. It was so cute to watch them interact, the way they looked at each other, whispered to each other, and even the way they held hands was so adorable. These two are like Romeo & Juliet...two seperate towns, the highschools they went to are serious rivals, and yet somehow they found each other and fell in love! haha! But really, one of the best things about what I do is getting to spend lots of time with people who are in love. And these two are most definitely in LOVE!!! They were so cute and giggly with each other. And half the time they were just so into each other I wondered if they even remembered I was there...I couldn't have asked for a cuter couple or a better session.
