Pretty sure this shot right here is going to make it into my TOP TEN for 2010! I am so in love with it...though I am not sure this little ladies momma would feel the same. Sister was not really feeling family photos and I was able to get some great candid shots because of it. This is why I love kids so much. They are so unpredictible! They don't care about our expectations or "perfect" shots. They just do their thing. But to me...that is when the magic happens. Because really life isn't perfect, kids are perfect, and that imperfection is that makes them amazing. For me, this is totally the shot that would end up in the collage on the wall. This is a moment, a small slice of time, captured. And for me this is so much better than any perfectly posed headshot. And as a completely amazing added bonus...this will be an awesome shot to put in her wedding video as blackmail someday...gotta love it! And she did leave us with a few other "perfect" shots...To see all of them click here.

I was so excited for this session and have been waiting for it for awhile. This mom is a super fun chick and is so fun to hang out with I knew it would be a good time! And aren't her kids super cute! Mr. Two Year Old had slightly alternative plans to taking photos that morning, but that is always an ideal plan for me. When things don't go as planned is when the best stuff happens. And he did not disappoint. He totally rocked this shoot and let his super cute personality shine through. I was pretty excited too for the fact that they are all also super cute. Don't you love that the boys go their momma's gorgeous smile! Just perfect! Check out the rest of the session by clicking here.

So you want an out-of-the-box session? Something really different...how about we go to 7-11? Great! This session was seriously so fun!!! I just love to do something different sometimes. To be thrown in a situation that challenges me and makes me do something I wouldn't do at an everyday session. And this session was just that! We were in a slightly sketchy location full of hobos, taking family pictures while we enjoyed slurpees, and actually froze our buns off while it snowed off and on. And I am so excited with the way it turned out! I edited them a little different than I normally do to give them a little bit more old school vintage look and I am loving the colors. Wished that the internet really showed how cool the colors are...oh well you get the idea. One of these days I am going to become an internet genius and will figure out how to make everything exactly the same as the way I see it...because it is so different than my everyday stuff. Its so fun to do something a little different...to see more click here.

How handsome is this guy? And look at those baby blues!!! They are amazing! This little guy has got to be one of my favorites. I always get excited to see him. He is so handsome and has the CUTEST little personality. And mom and me always have a fun time chatting while we wait and see what silly thing this guy has got up his sleeve. This little session he was cracking us up the whole time. He is just so stinkin cute! Check out the rest of his session by clicking here.

More fun families! I have been so lucky this year to be able to meet so many fun people. This family was super cute and I was just loving all the little kids. The cowboy, the diva, the comedian, the shy guy, the big sis, and silly one, and the little lady who wanted nothing to do with me...They were all adorable. This was a super fun shoot and I am so excited with how it turned out. I am just loving this session, and this family for that matter. I am so glad that they hired me...They were so fun and we had such a great time. Despite a little bit of cold weather, everyone was having so much fun and I am so excited with how this session turned out. They just really enjoyed each other and I think it shows. No stress about the cold, or the wind, just a family enjoying a fun morning together. I really can't say it as well as the images can...so to see the rest of the session click here.

How cute are these two little love birds? These two and their little cutie pie kids are definitely some of my favorites. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is that I have been able to make so many great friendships with my clients...and this is one of my favorites...I just love this gal! She is such a great friend and we always have a great time whenever we are together. We got together for a quick minute to shoot some new family shots and I love how these turned out. Don't you love the colors!!! So cute...to see the rest click here...

Looking at these pictures makes me long for summer! I am so over the cold already and it has just barely begun...the day of this session it was SO hot! And I would much rather be sweating right now that shivering right now...I want my flipflops back...but I am super excited that I am almost done with all the editing for the year and my holiday vacation will soon officially begin...yay! So if you want to enjoy a little sunshine, even just in photos, check out this cute family and their session by clicking here. They were super cute and we had a great time!

What do you get when you have freezing cold temperatures, snow you hadn't planned on, and no time to reschedule because one of your favorite friends and clients now lives 10 hours away? Ta-da!!! All we needed was one cute family one so we threw my new couch out in the snow (isn't it cute by the way) and shot for about five minutes to get what we needed. I can't wait for their next session...with a new little person on the way we will be able to get lots more time to be together...and I have to share a few snapshots of Mr. K and his silly "smile" face...gotta love it!

I am so so in love with this session. The lighting was just amazingly perfect! It is like everything was just so sunkissed! I honestly, barely edited this at all. Like pretty much nothing. Don't you just want to be in this session? Ahhhh....and this family was so fun and so perfect! I've said it before, and I will say it again, but I just LOVE little boys...they are so unpredictable, and could basically care less about family pictures, which pretty much makes the most perfect combination for something great to happen. And I loved that mom and dad were just so chill and enjoyed the moment just let it happen. Good job guys! I know its not easy...but wow it was worth it. I might just make a collage of this session for myself...I just am so in love with it...you have to check it out! You have to have to have to...so right now, click here!!!!

Ummm...so I really considered sneaking this guy home with me! How freakin cute is he? All the chub and blue eyes, I just loved it. And with my own chubby blue eyed guy, they could be like matching fatty babies. It would be so cute. And I would be the skinniest person alive from carrying them around all day. I already get a great workout carrying around my guy, imagine if I had two of the cutest chubbiest babies out there on my hip! Oh how I love em! I think a baby requirement that they all have some rolls on them!!! And this guy is so so chill! Which I wasn't surprised because his whole family was super sweet and just so easy to photograph. This was like the perfect perfect perfect session. It couldn't have been any better, except maybe if I would have had lots and lots more time to keep shooting them! They were so fun and I had a great time!!! You must check out the rest of the session...so click here!!!

Oh man! How cute is this? Such little divas!!! I was so excited to see their big poofy pettiskirts jump out of their truck when they pulled out to their session. These little girlies are some of the cutest. They live just across the street from us and my guy is a super big fan of them. In fact he is such a big fan that at preschool he had to draw a picture of all of the things that he was grateful for and both of these ladies made the list. I, on the other hand, did not. When my hubby asked him where I was, he said, "well um...mom can be this one" and pointed to a one-eyed brown blob on the paper. Awesome! Good to know I'm appreciated! But back to this cute family. They were super fun and did such a great job! Don't you love big sis's red hair! Oh I love red hair...like love, love, love it! I wished we had a chance for red hair with one of our kids. But hey, let's be real here, we don't even have a chance of any hair. Dang genes! But to see more of this super cute family click here.

Okay seriously...I love this girl! I get giddy at the thought of seeing her. Because she seriously is like the cutest little funniest thing. And she does stuff that I just can't get enough of her. I never try to get her do what I want, because I know that whatever little thing she makes up is going to be soooo much better! And this time, wow, look at her! She is like a little snow princess (good job mom!). And speaking of snow...look at this little ladies eyes (and moms, and dads, and baby brothers for that matter) they are like ice!!! Amazing!!! And though this was another freezing cold session, this family rocked it! I am just so in love with the colors. So awesome! To see all of it click here.

I always get excited to meet with this little family. They are one of the nicest families. And if you know the mom of this little family, you totally love her. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I just always love to visiting with her. And aren't her boys just adorable? They have the funnest little personalities and always keep me smiling through the session. And I am so excited that in just a few short months they are going to have a little girlie addition to their family...isn't it great? I can hardly wait to see her! These little sisters are some of my favorites. They are such sweet and yet spunky little things. And I am so excited to meet the newest addition to their family that will be arriving any day now. It was so fun at this session to chase these little ones around. I was especially glad that little sister was in such a fun mood at the session, because last time, she was SO not feeling me. But she did super cute this time and she has the cutest little personality and kept a smile on my face, and hers, the whole time! To see more of these little cuties click here.

So I have this little 5 year old client, and she all brothers. But she has a best friend, and they are super close...so close in fact that they call themselves the BFF Sisters...because they are so much closer than BFF's. And I totally think that BFF Sister is for real...because this right here...this is my BFF sister. We have been friends forever it seems like, and she is so like a sister to me, more in fact. She is always there to help me, laugh with me, cry with me, gripe about our kids and our hubby's with me, and even though we live far apart it doesn't seem like that because we talk constantly. I don't know what I would do without her. And oh my poor children, without her who knows what shape they would be in because the majority of the parenting advice I get comes from her. Thank goodness! Because she is an amazing mom. I feel so lucky to have her in my life...And I love her little family too! These little girls always put a smile on my face. They are so freaking adorable...you have to see how silly they were at their session. We were chatting, of course, and so we just let them do whatever...and I think their personalities totally came through...Big sis is so wise, and reserved, and thoughtful, and little sis...well little sis is just crazy! But I love her for that...just like my Jman! Oh how I love them! You have to click here to see the rest of the session.
And just so you know...this is my current favorite image. I just love it! Its like she can see right through you. Such a gorgeous girl.

This little wink is going to melt the ladies hearts someday. He kept showing off his new skill and it sure was melting mine! This little guy is seriously such a cute guy! And everytime I see him, he just keeps getting cuter and cuter! He is just such a happy guy! One of the other things that I love about this guy, in fact I am slightly obsessed is the little guy's name, Hayden Beau, isn't that just the cutest little cowboy name you have ever heard! And its one word, you have to say it all together! Isn't it just so cute! He is jus too cute to handle...and add that wink on top of it and oh boy!!! Guess this kiss caught this little guy by surprise! Such a funny little guy. I was so excited to see how big this little guy was. Mom and me were pregnant at the same time, he is only a few weeks younger than my baby. And he is a big boy too! Gotta love the baby chub! I can't believe that he is grown so much so fast and that their first birthday's are just around the corner. I really feel like I was just heading to the hospital...and now here we are thinking about first birthday parties. I have got to figure out how to slow down time...But it was fun to see him and how much he has changed. And I was so excited to see his family. Last year his big brother gave us a dagger at his session that became one of my very favorite photos ever! And he did great again this time too. Such a stud! And seriously, could he look more like his dad. He is most definitely a mini-version of dad! To see more click here.

Okay seriously, these are some of the best lookin boys around. I always get SO excited when I know they are coming because #1 - they are super cute, #2 - they are always dressed awesome, #3 - all three of them have amazing eyes, and #4 - they have some of the most fun, silly personalities that I know they are always going to come up with some GREAT stuff!!! And as an added bonus they are great friends. They are like my dream brother relationship. I hope that my boys are as good as friends as them. I have never in like three years ever seen them fight, or be mean to each other. Oh I am keeping my fingers crossed!!! To see more of this cute little family just click here.

I am so excited to post these! I have been so excited about this session and just anticipating it to be all finished! Don't they look amazing! Good job mom on the outfits, as always! I had no doubt in my mind that they would look awesome. They always do!!! Miss Q, the little lady, is one of my favorite little clients (as many of you know...haha...she is on here all the time). But she is just so cute! And the sass, oh man, how can you not love the sass! I can't get enough. And mom is one of my good friends who I just love spending time with. She is such a sweet gal and we always have a fun time chatting about whatever it is! She is such a good friend too and was so sweet to take care of us while my hubby was sick. I can't even explain how grateful I was for the Lysol wipes, chocolates, and goodie bag that showed up on our doorstep. So sweet! And the card, oh the card got me through it..."In the swimming pool of life, we're all going to have times when there's a little pee in the pool." Seriously kept me smiling through all the craziness. Thanks girl! And to see the rest of the session with their super cute family click here.

Oh brother, Mister C was on quite the roll the day of family pictures. I think he was driving his mommy and daddy a little nuts! But he was cracking me up! I have gone on and on about what a perfect little baby he is and how he is always so cooperative. But I think this time we went to places that were WAY cooler than me! He was so into roaming around...that he had better things to do than check out the crazy photographer girl. But of course, in pure Mister C fashion, he still totally got the job done and pulled out some super silly stuff and had me laughing. I just love his little personality! And I am pretty fond of his super cute mom too! She is one of my favorite clients and we always have a good time whenever we are together. She is just so cute. And can I just mention how amazing she looks. She has been a super woman lately losing lots of weight and I am so excited for her! You look gorgeous girlie!!! Everytime I edit images of this little girl, I cry. Not like one single tear running down my cheek cry, but sobs...big huge, can't breathe, sobs. That is why it always takes me so long to get them done. And everytime I post pictures of this family, I am so overwhelmed. I have been thinking for days about what to write. What could be the perfect words. Looking at her is like looking straight at a miracle. That is what she is. She is an answer to so many prayers from so many people. But mostly from her sweet momma. Her momma is my cousin, and she is probably one of the most amazing people I have ever met, and she has been through so much and yet she remains so joyful and so positive. After years and years of fertility issues, she finally got pregnant. It was such a huge blessing to our entire family and everyone was over the moon about it. We could hardly wait for little Branson's arrival (this little lady's older brother). But just one day before his arrival, he passed away. Even now to say it I feel like I lose my breath, I still can't belive he isn't here. I never get used to the fact that he isn't here with us. I never got to hold him, or snuggle him, and yet I feel like I know him so well. I think about him all the time. If you want to read the details of their sweet story and hear it from his momma's perspective you should read her blog. It is some of the most amazing and inspiring writing I have ever read. Just go to A Healing Journey. I still read it all the time. To remember, to be close to Branson, to find gratitude for the simple blessings of ornery, naughty, screaming children when I feel like I might lose my mind. Because my ornery, naughty children are here and I get to squeeze them everyday. But the story is amazing, and how they dealt with it is amazing...And after all that happened I think that this little lady was a gift to my cousin for all of the strength she showed. She never waivered in her ability to be positive. And now Miss B is turning one. How can it already have been a year? Time went too fast. As it always does...But I always love to be around these guys. She is the sweetest little girl, such a happy little thing, but I love, love, love to watch my cousin. Everytime she holds her, snuggles her, comforts her, chases her she is so blissfully happy. She savors every single moment, every little discovery, every little laugh and cry. Because she knows how incredibly precious they are. And she deserves these moments so much. But she never takes it for granted. She is so incredibly grateful for this little one, and it always helps me to remember what is really important. Just loving them, doing your best for them, and doing everything you can to shower them with love and letting our little ones know how incredibly much we love them. Just look at her you can see the joy on her face...It makes me so happy to be the person who gets to capture that joy...click here to see the whole session. And now...I am off to go snuggle my kids while they dream...

I think that there is a strong possibility that this might be my current favorite session. I am just so in love with it. Mom totally let me run the show, which I also love to do, and seriously listened to my every piece of advice and everything just turned out perfect. Their outfits are super cute, the colors are great for this location, the balloons are such a great addition they just seem to fit in so well and add just the right POP to the session, and everyone just did awesome! I just love everything about it, I could go on and on...Hope mom feels the same! Not sure if she did at the time. Mr B is an on-command smiler. Which is seriously the funniest thing ever. Want a candy, then smile, and boom...instant smile! Really I think he is the only kid I have ever worked with who is so good at the on-command smile. But by the end of the session he wasn't feeling us so much. But again, I am so in love with these shots. Some of my favorites from the year. Enjoy his super cute balloon shot, but then I am sure you will really really enjoy his Holiday Outfit shot...priceless! He was not in the holiday spirit at that point and I think sister was just trying to get him to cooperate! SO SO funny...and to see more of the session don't forget to click here to see all the great images from this super cute family.
Now onto the Holiday Cheer...or lack there of...I am laughing so hard right now as I type...

More favorite families!!! It seems like it is the time of year to see them all! I am so excited for all the fun posts that are coming. And this little bunch is one of my very favorites and I always get so excited to see them again. I feel like its just hanging out with friends. Their kiddos are so cute and always do something entertaining. And dad is by far one of my very favorite helpers. I always say that if I ever hire a full time assistant to help on shoots it will totally be a dad, and I think this guy or Mr. Esplin would be my first choices, they are so good! Not afraid to be silly and totally get their kids laughing. And we always end up having such a fun time. And how cute is this location? It was just perfect. Aren't these guys just so cute? Love em!!! How perfect is this little family? Isn't this just like out of a dream? Cooperative little children so in love with their parents...LOVE IT! And you have to see the two little ones together. They are so stinkin' cute. I was actually SO SO SO nervous for this session. Mom is a pretty fabulous photographer herself with One Memory At A Time Photography. But photographing another photographer and her family...it is kind of a lot of pressure. Not that she put it on me, I put it all on myself. She was so mellow and carefree. But I was sweating bullets! But the pressure paid off. I am so excited about this session. The kids were so cooperative, which for all you photographers out there you know that is not usually the case. Normally when kids have their pictures taken all the time they run away as soon as they see the camera. But these two kiddos totally played along and were simply perfect! And the session ended up being exactly what I wanted it to be...carefree, joyful, and simply them being themselves. I am so happy! You have to check it out...especially the pillow fight! You would die if you saw us at the end of the session. Feathers were everywhere!!!! I am still finding them in my truck...Click here to see more...

Sometimes I feel like this! Not that I own any property. But sometimes I want to scream when I show up at some of my favorite locations and the No Tresspassing sign has been put up! Grrr!!! I always ask too why and so many times the owner says its because of photog's who take advantage of the property and ruin it....Double Grrr!!! I am all for following the rules and taking care of places. I just wished everyone felt the same. But anyways...off my soapbox and onto Miss K. Isn't she funny! For anyone who knows her knows that "attitude" is not a word that is used to describe her. She is so sweet...just like her mama. But she sure did put on a good show for this shot! I loved it! She so played the part. But you have to check out the rest of the session to see her sweetness coming through...just click here. I also love the little shirt she was wearing. I so believe it!!! You go little girlie!!!

Instead of goldilocks and the three bears, this family should be called Hot Mama and Three Tall Dark and Handsome's! They are seriously such a good looking family. And oh my goodness the hair...I have talked about the hair before, and I will continue to talk about the hair again, but really. How can four people have such amazing hair? Coming from a family with three boys who could go a year without a haircut there is a big green monster of envy on my back over the hair. I would love to have a child with a full head of hair! But the chances for me are so so thin. But a girl can hold onto a dream can't she, hopefully my next baby in like three years will come out with my hair...thick and curly. Wouldn't that be cute! Okay...off the hair topic. This is another one of my favorite families. I always love to get together with them. They are such a fun bunch. The boys are getting to such a fun age and it was so cute to see them interact and how good of buddies they are becoming as little brother gets older. They were so cute during this session. I especially loved big brothers efforts to wrestle brother into doing what he was supposed to, like the image below,...so cute! To see more of this gorgeous family click here.

Another one of my favorite families! This mommy is such a great friend and is always so sweet to check on me and make sure I am surviving the craziness of my life. Which I genuinely appreciate so much. It is so nice sometimes just to have a sweet little note from her. I just wished we lived closer so we could hang out more often! Maybe I could join the soccer team...ya right! I would probably drop dead during warm ups! I have decided I have the most "fit" fingers in the world from the hours spent in front of my computer...but other than that I am a lost cause. But she is super athletic and is always doing tons of fun stuff to keep in shape! And it shows...isn't she so cute? And isn't her family so adorable? They all are like little models! Their session was a total breeze for me because they are all so good. And the kids are all at a great age to cooperate and play. Even dad thought so! And how funny is dad? At every session we have ever done he always provides me with an image that cracks me up. And this year was no different. Good job! We had a great time and I am so excited about this session. Wanna hear a good story...this one is at the top of my favorites list right now...it seriously cracks me up everytime I think about it...
So I have never really been sure of the definition of floozy before...but after this session I have gained a lot more clarity on it. According to an anonymous passer by to this session the definition has been adapted somewhat from what we may all think. I guess now a floozy is someone who wears a gorgeous black shirt and flower in her hair while looking amazing and having her family photos taken at a less than traditional location...sound good to you??? Guess so. Because we were just out enjoying our session, and someone made an anonymous call to report that there was a girl out having her pictures taken in this super cool old shed and she was dressed like a floozy. I guess I don't quite see it. This family is super awesome, and was dressed amazing. They look like rock stars, don't you think? So I guess whatever...We had a great time, despite the drama, and I am so excited with how this session turned out. So Mom, I guess if looking hot and having a gorgeous family makes you a floozy...keep doing what your doing!!! If you want to see more click here...
But I also have to point out the little guy in the hat...because he is hilarious! He was on a roll during the session and whether it was the random "fake" drumsticks he found somewhere or the other funny poses that I have no clue what he was doing, I just think he is hilarious, in fact I could dedicate a whole week to funny things he says. My guy and him are good friends, and each time we are together I get a great laugh...Some of my recent favorites are:
- The day him and J were eating lunch, and he said ever so seriously, " So J what do you know about child birth?" (laughing through tears while typing this). Oh and by the way, J's response was..."I like football." Sweet!
- Or the day he was farmer blowing in my car and I asked him if he needed a tissue and he said, "Nope, I'm good, I'll just put it in my pocket like I always do."
- And then just this week, in preschool they did thankful paper where the kids drew things they were grateful for...on his list was monsters, rocks, snakes, and grenades...like seriously, who isn't thankful for grenades?

The first snow session of the year...I was so not ready for snow...and still not quite sure I am ready. I have clients still wanting to hold onto fall and I think I am right there in that boat. But in the end, the snow ended up being a welcome addition to this session...by everyone, except for maybe baby sister. She was so chilly! And it didn't help that while we were busy trying to get big sis to look our way and show us her cute smile, little sis face planted into the snow. whoops! No harm though...she let out a tiny little cry and was back in action. I was so proud of big sis too! She totally rocked this shoot! She was definitely the star of the show, don't ya think? To see more of her cuteness click here. I have to show off one of mom too...doesn't she look amazing???

I am so excited for so many of the posts that are coming because so many of them are my favorite little families. This one is by far one of my favorites. The dad of this bunch built our house and we love our house...so we love him! And since building our house we have become good friends with the whole family. Mom is super sweet and has been such a good friend to me so many times. She was so cute when I was on bed rest last year, she brought us a way yummy dinner when my hubby was sick, and she recently just came and took my crazy little guy so that I could have a few hours to get editing done...which so many of you are grateful for...haha! But she is just always so great and I appreciate her friendship so much. And her 4 year old, oh how we love her 4 year old. It is funny to look back because I really thought this guy was going to be a shy timid guy and he has gone the exact opposite direction. He is so silly and keeps everyone laughing. He is so animated and just has the cutest little personality. I just love him! And my little guy and him are good buddies and I hope they stay good friends forever. Even if they do throw rocks at each others heads....haha! Wanna see more of this family...click here.

Okay, really, how good looking is this family! They looked so perfect when they showed up. Good job mom! Great color choices, everyone has a little bit of something different to make them stand out and it all just came together so great. Doesn't hurt that they are all way photogenic. And to have four boys who all smile. Gold star to me (or maybe mom if she threatened them) haha! Either way, it all worked and they all look super great! To see more click here...

I love siblings! Aren't they funny? I think this is a pretty typical thing for these two...silly kids! I thought mom might enjoy a little peek at her little cuties since she is currently home stuck on bedrest trying to keep number 3 from making an early arrival. My heart goes out to her. It was about this time last year that I got put on bed rest. I know there are so many worse things in the world that could happen, but it was rough. Stuck in bed, not being able to give in to all my "nesting" instincts, and worse of all not being able to travel for the holidays, put up the Christmas tree, or do the holiday shopping. But don't worry mom, this too will pass. And soon enough (but not too soon) that little baby will be here. And all will be well. I am so excited to snuggle them! So hang in there girl! This family was so sweet. I woke up the morning of their session and wasn't feeling so hot. But they were totally understanding and dealt with me all hopped up on cough medicine and probably acting a little crazy. But crazy is fun right...haha! We had such a good time and I loved how this session turned out. And don't you just love their little grand-daughter? She was so beautiful and most definitely the star of the show! So adorable...To see more click here.

I seriously love these two! They are some of the most amazing people. And they have the cutest boys, both of them are adopted. The story of how their family came to be is amazing...You should read about it on their blog http://charleyandbrandon.blogspot.com . I so love adoption! I think it is amazing. Every step along the journey is amazing.
And they have just been approved to adopt again. I am so excited for them. They have such a wonderful family and I know anyone that chose them to adopt their child would be so lucky. Because they are simply wonderful! So if you know anyone who is looking to adopt, please tell them about this family. And to see the rest of their session click here.
Wouldn't you want to have these two as your brothers? They are a hoot!

Little Miss Sassy Pants...oh I love her! This girlie is one of my very favorites! I always get so excited whenever I am going to see her. She always does something completely adorable and hilarious! I always laugh so hard when I get to hang out with her. Its girls like her that make me maybe someday want a daughter...I just love all the silly sass! And to make it even better she has totally got her model poses down! Seriously, everything she does, she does without any help from me. And her little brother is getting to be quite the little personality himself. He was always so timid but this time he was totally a little ham and did so good, even if we did make him tromp around in his diaper, which mom says is the regular for him, so cute!!! You have got to check out this session! Just click here.

This is one of my favorite families! I was so excited to do their pictures again...and I can't believe how big they are getting! Little sis was so happy this time around and it was so fun, I think last year she was a little bit freezin' but the weather was perfect this time around and her cutie little personality showed through. I just loved seeing her all happy and smiley. She is a doll. And the rest of her family is pretty cute too...don't ya think? To see more click here...

This family should seriously be in an advertisement for Jcrew! Don't they all look amazing. And seriously, those little girl dresses, are TO DIE FOR!!! They are so incredibly gorgeous. The whole family just looks perfect. And mom did a great job on choosing the location. So cool, right! I can not wait to print some of these images as a metallic finish. It is just going to be so yummy! Ahhhh...love it! Don't miss the whole session click here to see the rest of the images.

What do you do when you drive an hour and a half to your session and the second you pull into town it starts to rain...Head into a parking garage? Yep! Sounds good to me. And it turned out great. The light was amazing for the first half of this session as we headed into this parking garage while we waited for the rain to break. I love little sis in this picture...Its so funny to me because she is the happiest bubbly little girl and everytime I have done this families pictures she pulls the shy card right at the start. But once she gets warmed up, watch out, she is a heartbreaker! And we got so lucky because once the rain decided to stop we found a super cute industrial location that worked perfectly with their outfits. And didn't mom do such a good job! Way to go! I just loved how this all turned out. To see more click here.

Don't you love this grungy old truck? It has so much character...and such a great texture. This was dad's chick magnet all through highschool. It was so fun to have it be part of the session. And the little mister thought it was so fun that we had quite the time getting him away from the steering wheel. He wanted to drive, honk the horn, play with the mirrors and about anything else other than get his pictures taken. Which in my opinion makes for the best photos! Look how happy and cute he is! I am so excited how this session turned out. To see more click here.

How cute is this bunch? I love families full of boys, especially boys who are willing to play along with mom's desire to have family photos. They were such good sports! I told them the key to family photos (when you are a boy) is just smile, do what I say, and it will go quickly. And they did exactly that!!! And how cute are all of them? Such a good looking bunch of boys...and mom, well she is gorgeous!!! To see more of the session click here.

I hadn't seen this guy in a little while, and I was totally expecting a taller version of his chunky baby self to jump out of the car when they pulled up for their session. But instead, I was totally shocked to see this little man come barelling toward me. All that chunky baby was gone. Sniff, sniff! It makes me think of my little chunky baby and want to savor all those rolls because sadly they won't last forever. But it was so fun to see what a spunky little guy he had turned into. So smily and he kept us laughing the whole time. He is 110% boy and instantly found a big old stick that became his good friend throughout the session. But that is exactly how it should be. Boys love dirt, and sticks, and throwing rocks, and I was so glad that we could capture such a perfect glimpse of his rough and tough little personality. Gotta love a little cowboy, even if he isn't so little anymore. To see the rest of the session click here.

So I am a huge fan of kids who are bouncing off the walls, fun of energy, and totally crazy. But there is also something about a more timid child with a more peaceful demeanor that almost mesmerizes me. I took pictures of this little cutie when she was about one years old and I just remembered how timid and sweet she was. And she hasn't changed a big. She is just a sweet little thing. She was so happy and just listened and we just had a fun time visiting and laughing. And her new little sister is just as cute. Such a happy happy baby. They both reminded me so much of their super cute mom. Such a fun session...and look how cute they are. To see the rest of the session click here.

Isn't this such a cute family! And don't they look great? As a mom of boys I am so aware of the fact that it is hard to dress boys and not have everyone end up in the same shirt. So when mom told me what they were planning to wear I was so excited! They look awesome! And these boys kept us all hopping! I love love LOVE the energy of little boys. It makes for great sessions, especially when you just let them do whatever it is they want to do. Why sit on a chair when we can whack weeds, jump off logs, chase our brothers, and laugh at daddy and his funny faces. It works like a charm every time! I was so excited with how this session turned out...to see the rest of it click here.

It seems a little bit off, with all these summer sessions I have been posting in the last few days, but I am still trying to get caught up from our crazy hospital fiasco. So this family did not do their swimsuit shoot in November...but I am pretty excited because I am almost caught up and on-schedule!!! Hooray!!!
This family is most definitely one of my favorites. First off they are all gorgeous, its like Ken & Barbie with amazingly gorgeous, super cute, well behaved children. Like seriously, their kids are so so sweet and just such cute good kids. I just love em! I always get excited too to shoot mom and dad together because they are still SO IN LOVE!!! Little cute lovey-dovey love the way engaged couples are. I just love to be around them! She still totally melts around him and you can tell that his whole world revolves around her. ahhhhh!!! And this session, oh I knew it was going to be awesome, as soon as she said they wanted to do it on their boat! They are huge boating enthusiasts so what better place. It was so fun! I am a huge boating fan, we used to go all the time when I was younger, and it was so fun to hang out with them as they just played around! Hint, hint, schanks...photographer will work for free tub rides!!! haha! But it was super fun and the session turned out great. To see the rest of it click here.
I just had to post this last one because I am kinda jealous...she kept telling me I couldn't take any pictures of her after she'd been in the water! But look how cute she is! So gorgeous!

Take me out to the ballgame! I just love me some baseball family pictures! I can't wait until my boys are big enough to play baseball. We have quite the little lefty on our hands! And baseball is most definitely a sport I can get excited about...enjoying the summertime and sunbathing while enjoying the game, how could I not love it? And this family is all very into baseball! So where better to do the session than on the ball field. It worked out perfectly. Mom chose just the right outfits with all the bright bold colors. Isn't it fun!!! And I absolutely love that mom chose all the funny face images for her kids...they are always my favorite! To see more of the session click here.

I was so excited for this session. I love urban stuff. I love that dirty downtown look, and this was definitely it! Some of the alleys we walked down looked like a crime scene from New York or something. Honestly, I always get a little nervous in places like this, especially when kids are with us, that some creeper is going to jump out and get us. But we survived and it was awesome. I loved how the colors and everything just look so perfect. To see more of the session click here.
